“اور پلیز سفیان تمہارے منہ سے شیرینی میں ڈوبے ہوئے الفاظ کچھ سوٹ نہیں کر رہے میرے خیال میں تمہارا پرانا والا انداز زیادہ بہتر ہے اور تمہیں ضرورت ہی کیا ہے اپنی انا کو ٹھیس پہنچانے کی خواہ مخواہ میں۔”
“ٹھیک کہہ رہی ہو تم کچھ لوگوں کو پیار بھری زبان سمجھنے میں دقت ہوتی ہے۔خیر تمہاری طبیعت اب کیسی ہیں۔”
“کیا تم میری طبیعت کا پوچھنے ائے ہو۔”
“مجھے تو مام نے بھیجا تھا یہ دیکھنے کہ ان کی بیٹی کس حال میں ہے۔اتنے دنوں سے گھر کیوں نہیں آئی۔ ماں ہے نہ پریشان تو ہوگی ہی۔”
اسے زچ کرنے کی باری اب اس کی تھی۔
“آج میرے حیرت زدہ ہونے کا دن ہے میرے لیے کوئی پریشان ہو رہا ہے کسی کو فکر ہو رہی ہے۔تعجب ہے تمہاری مام کو پچھلے ڈھائی ماہ میں میری فکر نہیں ہوئی تو آج کیوں پریشان ہو رہی ہیں وہ۔” وہ بھی لائبہ تھی۔ زیادہ دیر تک کسی کو خاطر میں نہیں لاتی تھی۔
"Why aren't you coming home?"
"House. Whose house? Yours. Sikandar Leghari's or Tania Leghari's house?" He asked sarcastically while smiling.
"At home," he said quietly, his sarcasm to be believed.
"Oh my home. I go to my house everyday Sufyan. She emphasized on her house. Even after some time I am going there. Which house are you talking about. She seemed serious but the sarcasm in her eyes was well seen. She smiled immediately with lowered lips. .
"And please, Sufyan, the sugary words coming out of your mouth are not doing you any good, I think your old style is better and you don't need to hurt your ego."
"You are right, some people have difficulty understanding loving language. Well, how are you now?"
"Have you come to ask about my health?"
"I was sent by my mother to see how her daughter is doing. Why has she not come home for so many days?" If there is no mother, she will be worried."
